Third Party Reviews

‘Awesome! So pristine and yet so funky and occasionally filthy. Loving it’.

'An intriguing journey through sound and space. Throughout these auditory landscapes there are endless, delicious, aural moments - sensual, shimmering, organic textures that 'keep your ears on their toes' (to use an appropriately unsettling metaphor).

As the tracks rise and fall there is a sense of continual momentum as constant sonic surprises are juxtaposed against an array of rhythmic textures that lull you into a false sense of security. Huge claustrophobic emptiness evolves into dark brightness that alternates between now and then, here and there, within and without.

If you like the more experimental side of electronic music - from the vintage German classics of yore to the current sounds of avant-garde, minimal techno (via Killing Joke and Burial!) - indulge yourself for 44 minutes and let Equipoise take you somewhere away from the misery of 2020 to an alternate universe of new possibilities, anticipation and wonders.' Jez Allan (Tall Boys; Girls At Our Best).
