'Excursions' is a piece that explores possibilities of moving from one sonic landscape to another through ideas of sonic modulation. After a short exposition, the piece develops into a slow-moving glacial landscape that culminates into torrid and turbulent textures. Part two exhibits spacious interplay through the exploration of sonic interactions and junctures. The end unfolds as a recapitulation that finally distorts and contracts before dispersing into silence.
